Molina Healthcare, a FORTUNE 500 health care organization, needed a better way for case managers and in-home workers to capture patient information during home visits. Its teams were relying on pen and paper, then re-entering data into multiple systems later, which was slow, error-prone, and difficult to standardize. Molina turned to Progress Software and its Telerik/Kendo UI tools to support a mobile tablet app with offline data entry, validation, and flexible HTML-based forms.

Progress Software implemented Kendo UI to help Molina build a faster, more consumer-like app that separated forms from the core application and synchronized data electronically when workers reconnected. The result was a dramatic performance improvement, standardized data collection, and easier compliance handling. Around 170 users in Texas were already using the app, with hundreds more expected, and Molina reported reduced errors, less paperwork, and more time for staff to focus on members.
