RR Donnelley, a Chicago-based communications and workflow services company, needed to modernize its business-critical Development Workflow Engine. RR Donnelley turned to Progress Software and its Kendo UI by Progress tools to rebuild the application from scratch into a single, easier-to-use interface.

Progress Software helped RR Donnelley implement a unified, responsive application using Kendo UI, with Bootstrap supporting mobile-friendly design. The new solution delivered faster development, a complete and extensible component set, and simpler maintenance; Robert Bonser estimated it saved 20 to 40 hours on the project, while new features can now often be added in about 15 minutes.
