NTU Singapore boosts organic traffic 18.5% with Progress Sitefinity

Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) faced the challenge of managing a sprawling digital estate of over 150 websites across multiple subdomains. The university needed to consolidate these sites under a single domain, improve navigation, and ensure a consistent brand message. To address this, they turned to Progress Software and implemented its Sitefinity content management system.

The solution from Progress involved migrating from Microsoft SharePoint to Sitefinity, leveraging its multisite management capabilities to centrally control all websites. This allowed over 100 departments to easily access and edit their sites while using standardized widgets for brand consistency. The results were significant: NTU saw an 18.5% increase in organic traffic and an 11% decrease in page bounces, while internal surveys showed 82% of students and faculty rated the redesign as a massive improvement.
