North Carolina State University’s Financial Mathematics program needed a better way to manage multiple student, alumni, recruiter, and employer contact lists that were being tracked in scattered spreadsheets. With limited staff and budget constraints, the team turned to Progress Software and its Progress Rollbase platform to create a more agile contact management system.

Using Progress Software’s Rollbase, the program built a web-based “Quantbase” database in less than one day and migrated its spreadsheet data into a centralized cloud system. The new solution gave staff a single view of contacts, automated data management, and cut contact handling time to about 10% of what it had been, while also improving reporting, accuracy, and support for internships, events, and job searches.
