National Physiatry Academy Improves Customer Experience and Workflows with Sitefinity

The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R), the national medical society for more than 10,000 physiatrists, needed to better serve both public visitors and members with easy-to-find, up-to-date content. With a small IT and marketing team, the organization also wanted a CMS that could support single sign-on and let stakeholders across the academy manage content more efficiently. Progress Software’s Sitefinity was selected to replace its previous SharePoint-based setup.

Progress Software implemented Sitefinity with integration support from Vanguard Technology, delivering streamlined workflows, content hierarchy and taxonomy, responsive navigation, and single sign-on. The new system expanded content editing access from 4 stakeholders to more than 20, cut change turnaround from days to about an hour, and increased core member traffic by 31% per session, page views by 25%, and member logins to 52% over six months.
