Mckesson Harnesses Progress to Deliver Healthcare Efficiencies to 1,000 Healthcare Practices

McKesson, the largest healthcare services company in the U.S., needed an affordable way to build a web-based electronic health record and practice management application for small medical practices without sacrificing ease of use or patient care quality. The company turned to Progress Software and its Telerik DevCraft suite to support this effort.

Progress Software helped McKesson build “Practice Choice” using Telerik DevTools and a Microsoft-based SaaS stack, enabling intuitive workflows and faster UI development. The result was a professional, easy-to-use system that improved workflow efficiency, achieved full EHR certification for Stage 1 Meaningful Use, and was adopted by more than 300 practices and 2,400 users, with a target of 1,000 practices.
