Kensington Mortgages, one of the UK’s leading specialist lenders, needed to build an entirely new website under a tight two-month deadline after being sold by its parent company. The previous Adobe CQ5 platform lacked flexibility and had restrictive licensing, so Kensington Mortgages turned to Progress Software and its Progress® Sitefinity™ CMS to find a more agile, user-friendly solution.
Progress Software, working with Sitefinity partner Dock9, helped launch the new site in about six weeks and integrated a third-party lending calculator to improve functionality. The result was a more usable, responsive website with faster content updates, greater development flexibility, and lower change costs; a broker survey showed 44% preferred Kensington Mortgages versus 36% for its nearest competitor and 22% for the third.
