Kansas City Area Development Council Consolidates and Modernizes Online Presence with Progress

Kansas City Area Development Council (KCADC) needed to unify five separate websites across different platforms while maintaining a strong, consistent brand and giving staff a way to update content in-house. Working with Progress Software and partner Triple-I, KCADC chose Progress Sitefinity CMS to replace its fragmented online presence and reduce reliance on IT and outside web developers.

Progress Software implemented Sitefinity CMS as a multisite platform, integrating KCADC’s investor management system, real estate database, and major employer database into one modern site. The new thinkKC.com launched as a mobile-responsive, flexible website that improved content updates, strengthened branding, and eliminated about $40,000 a year in third-party web development costs.
