Jefferson Health, a large regional health system and teaching hospital, needed a faster way to deliver secure, patient-centric digital applications while supporting its Digital Innovation and Customer Experience (DICE) Group. Using Progress Software’s Progress Health Cloud, the team could avoid spending time on infrastructure setup, security, and compliance tasks and instead focus on innovation and improving the patient and workforce experience.
Progress Software implemented Progress Health Cloud as a HIPAA-compliant, serverless cloud backend that powered both mobile and desktop apps, including a donor referral and engagement application. The result was much faster delivery—Jefferson Health said it took about three weeks to get the app out after the need was defined—while also improving donor management, reducing duplicate outreach, and enabling the DICE Group to launch and update applications more efficiently.
