City Bank takes Mobile first Attitude, ups the Customer Experience with Progress

City Bank, a Texas-based banking institution with more than 20 branches, needed to modernize its aging proprietary website to better support customers’ growing demand for online and mobile banking services. Working with Progress Software and its Sitefinity CMS through partner Smooth Fusion, the bank set out to replace its outdated platform with a secure, responsive digital experience.

Progress Software helped City Bank launch a completely redesigned Sitefinity CMS website with improved navigation, new search, a simplified online loan application, and a mobile-first responsive design. The new staging and drag-and-drop content tools gave marketing teams control over updates, cutting time to market for campaigns, while analytics and personalization features helped City Bank measure results and tailor messaging; in 2015 alone, its Community Rewards program drew over 100,000 votes.
