A Progress Sitefinity Case Study
Tata Global Beverages (owner of the Tetley brand) faced rising costs and low adoption of its web presence: attempts to build a family of 17 localized sites on SharePoint proved expensive to customize, hard for brand managers to use, and unable to meet multilingual and ecommerce needs. With deadlines and a need to reduce hosting, licensing, development and training overheads, the company needed a flexible, user-friendly CMS that would scale across markets.
Working with Communisis/Kieon and FTI Consulting, TGB replatformed its sites to Sitefinity CMS by Telerik, completing 18 sites in 20 languages in six months. The new CMS re-engaged brand teams with an intuitive backend, enabled faster site and ecommerce deployments, cut hosting from £67,000 to £10,000 per year, and delivered projected savings of more than £250,000 over five years.
