Solo Affitti Modernizes Real Estate Portal for Italian Renters with Progress

Solo Affitti, Italy’s leading rental franchise with more than 300 agencies and about 150,000 monthly sessions, needed to replace a legacy website that was hard to update, poorly structured for SEO and frustrating for users and franchisees. Content changes required programmer and vendor intervention, search and forms were cumbersome, and the company wanted a centralized portal to collect and manage data on agencies, owners and prospective tenants while improving usability across devices.

Working with Gruppo Sistema, Solo Affitti rebuilt its portal on Progress Sitefinity CMS hosted on Microsoft Azure and integrated it with Microsoft Dynamics, franchise management software and Google Maps. The new site delivers real-time property sync, map/table search, saved searches, favorites, comparisons and automated notifications, and lets marketing publish changes in minutes without IT. Results include a drop in bounce rate from 40% to 28%, faster campaign landing-page publishing, improved SEO and a more user-centric, responsive experience that supports better tracking and remarketing.
