QAA Embraces Mobile with Sitefinity

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA)—which safeguards UK higher education standards and communicates with domestic and international audiences—needed a modern, accessible website but was constrained by an outdated, unresponsive CMS (SharePoint 2013). The legacy platform made page building difficult, lacked widgets and flexible templates, and hampered multisite/multilingual management and integration with external databases.

Partnering with Progress Sitefinity and Argo Ventures Digital, QAA rebuilt its site with responsive design, multisite/multilingual control, third‑party database integration, and reusable widgets/layouts. The result is a more engaging, accessible experience that’s easier to maintain from a single dashboard, supports rapid content and navigation changes, increased editorial and developer efficiency, and has driven mobile usage to about 22.8% of visitors.
