A Progress Sitefinity Case Study
The Merchant Advisory Group (MAG), an association representing 165 of the largest U.S. merchants (about $4.8 trillion in annual sales and ~62% of U.S. credit card volume), faced a growing problem: its existing Sitefinity website had confusing menu labels and an outdated content structure, making it hard for members to find resources as the library and expectations expanded.
Partnering with Astriata, MAG used usability testing to rebuild the site on Progress Sitefinity with curated search, user management, SSO to iMIS and PATH, FeedBlitz integration, secure conditional forms, and custom content types and alerts. The redesign made navigation intuitive, surfaced educational and curated news content, highlighted member-only resources, and increased engagement — time on page rose 109% (from 56 seconds to 1:57) and the newsletter became the site’s most visited page.
