Spectrum Health Lakeland, a not-for-profit health system serving much of southwest Michigan, faced an underperforming proprietary CMS that hindered user experience and blocked integrations across its network of more than 30 microsites. The organization needed a modern, flexible platform to improve digital experiences and streamline content management.

Working with partner Enqbator, Lakeland replatformed to Progress Sitefinity’s headless CMS, using its APIs to create a single content source and decoupled architecture. The change eliminated duplicate data entry, shifted content updates from developers to stakeholders, improved operational workflows, and drove mobile traffic to roughly 60–70% while enabling faster feature rollout and content reuse across sites.
