A Progress Sitefinity Case Study
Kensington Mortgages, a UK specialist lender serving the self‑employed and other non‑standard borrowers, needed to break away from its former parent company’s infrastructure after a recent sale and launch a completely new website on a tight timeline. With just two months to select and deliver a platform, the team rejected Adobe CQ5 for its inflexibility and licensing limits and sought a CMS that would be intuitive, extensible and mobile-ready without compromising functionality or usability.
Kensington chose Progress Sitefinity and implementation partner Dock9, delivering a new responsive site in about six weeks that added features not possible on the previous platform—most notably an integrated lending calculator. The new site cut time and cost to make content and development changes, improved broker satisfaction (44% preferred Kensington vs. 36% and 22% for competitors in a recent survey), and positioned the business for mobile optimization, personalization and ambitious growth plans.
