CEDIA's New Web Experience Drives Member Engagement up 46% with Progress Sitefinity

CEDIA, the international trade association for companies that design, manufacture and install home‑technology systems, needed a modern, consolidated website to replace three regional sites and a fragmented ecosystem of third‑party tools. The old site made content governance difficult and limited what the team could execute, so CEDIA required a single multilingual platform that better reflected member design work and improved discovery and engagement.

Working with Vanguard, CEDIA upgraded and expanded its Progress Sitefinity instance, adding a federated search across events (including Cvent and Absorb LMS), integrating the Aptify AMS, launching a microsite for The CEDIA Designer, and refreshing the site design with engagement widgets. Post-launch metrics showed stronger engagement: page views +32%, pages per session +46% and bounce rate down 38%, plus faster content and event setup and higher member satisfaction.
