Best Western GB, the British arm of the global Best Western network, needed a brand and website refresh to better attract younger travelers and support its matrixed organization of roughly 250 independently owned hotels. Facing strong industry competition and a heavy requirement to integrate multiple third‑party systems without disrupting the booking experience, the company sought a more flexible digital backbone beyond a traditional CMS.
Working with Spinbox, Best Western turned Progress Sitefinity into a full Digital Experience Platform, integrating its international booking system, Best Western Rewards database, nightly hotel data syncs and a weekly FTP image sync for global properties. The rebuilt site used Sitefinity’s Module Builder and MVC capabilities to boost performance and SEO, deliver a smoother checkout UX (driving a 30% lift in conversions), enable on‑the‑fly content changes, and help grow the brand to more than 300 hotels with overwhelmingly positive feedback.
