Academy of Management Modernizes Its Member Experience with Progress Sitefinity

The Academy of Management (AOM), a global association of nearly 20,000 management scholars across 120 countries, needed a modern website that made its extensive content easy to find and simple to manage. Its legacy site was outdated in both look and backend, hindering the delivery of prioritized, news-style experiences members expect.

Working with Vanguard, AOM implemented Progress Sitefinity, consolidated subsites, added SSO across Atypon, iMIS and Higher Logic, automated event imports, deployed faceted federated search and persona-driven personalization, and rebuilt a responsive mobile experience. Members praised the redesign and engagement improved measurably: sessions rose 9.4% and pages per session rose 18.9%, with lower bounce rates and plans to expand personalization, video and advertising.
