The company’s legacy, home-grown OpenSSH file-transfer process was cumbersome, error-prone and lacked the security, visibility, reporting and automation needed to satisfy ISO 27001 requirements and strict financial‑services client SLAs.

Sumerian deployed MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Automation to centralize secure managed file transfer, encrypt data in transit and at rest (FIPS 140‑2 AES), enforce user/system/file policies, provide delivery confirmation and tamper‑evident reporting, and automate scheduled or event-driven workflows with minimal scripting. The solution reduced administrative burden and manual errors, saved an estimated 1–2 hours per day, improved transfer visibility and compliance, and delivered the reliability Sumerian and its clients required.
