A Progress Case Study
Concordant, Inc. is an eHealth services firm and managed service provider that designs, implements and supports the full EHR lifecycle for hundreds of ambulatory practices — monitoring more than 250 devices across 100 offices and supporting some 2,500 practices overall. Its customers require high availability, tight network security and HIPAA-compliant handling of large, long-lived electronic health records, and Concordant needed a proactive, reliable way to detect issues like low disk space and failing hardware before they impacted care or workflow.
Concordant deployed WhatsUp Gold MSP to monitor disk usage, redundant power supplies and other key infrastructure, using SNMP/WMI checks, real-time alerts, built-in reporting and automatic trouble‑ticket integration. The solution enabled 24x7 proactive monitoring and faster remote resolution, producing higher uptime, improved productivity and compliance support, fewer on-site visits and lower support costs for both Concordant and its customers.
