The European University Institute (EUI), a Florence-based research campus serving more than 1,000 social sciences scholars and housing EU historical archives, needed a reliable campus-wide network management system to oversee nearly 200 devices on a converged voice/data network. Maintaining high availability and performance was critical to protect ongoing research and the institute’s reputation, and existing tools were too complex and resource-intensive.
