Continental Automotive, a leading global automotive supplier with over 87,000 employees, faced growing pressure to exchange larger files quickly and securely, automate recurring tasks, and control decentralized partner workflows. Onboarding one-off data exchanges was slow and resource-intensive, and existing tools were limited for unique transfers.
Continental selected Progress MOVEit (Transfer, Automation and EZ) and deployed it on VMware to provide built-in end-to-end encryption, external authentication, API integration and secure messaging. The rollout now supports ~2,000 users, more than 150 automated tasks and moved over 300 GB in months with 99.6% system reliability, streamlining partner integration, reducing email load, speeding exchanges and cutting time and costs.
