15-Year MOVEit Customer Copp Clark Expands MFT Capabilities with MOVEit Cloud and MOVEit Automation

Copp Clark, a Toronto-based provider of holiday observance data for global financial markets, serves more than 1,000 financial, technology and manufacturing clients. As the business grew, its original FTP-and-email delivery became too labor intensive and insufficiently secure for financial-sector customers, creating risk of failed trades, lost revenue and reputational damage—so the company needed a scalable, compliant managed file transfer solution.

Starting with Progress MOVEit in 2008 and later adopting MOVEit Cloud (2015) and MOVEit Automation, Copp Clark gained SFTP, a web client, user management, encryption, automation and extensive logging. The move lets non-technical staff onboard and support customers, outsources disaster recovery and server maintenance to the cloud, resolves protocol/connectivity issues with banks, and provides the compliance controls and scalability the company needs while keeping a small IT team.
