A Proglove Case Study
DHL, one of the world's leading logistic companies, faced a challenge in its parcel centers due to a surge in shipments from e-commerce. A significant portion of these were bulky items that required manual processing, which disrupted workflow and made it difficult to meet customer expectations for reliable and transparent delivery while working within the same physical space.
To address this, DHL implemented ProGlove's MARK 2 wearable barcode scanners and MARK Display as part of its Bulky Goods 2.0 initiative. This ProGlove solution provided operators with full mobility, replacing stationary terminals and conventional pistol scanners. The results included faster processes, saving up to 4 seconds per scan, and giving workers more time to process packages. The ergonomic design also reduced errors and worker stress, increasing overall efficiency and service reliability.
