InVue Security Safeguards Application Adoption by Modernizing

InVue Security Products, a provider of retail anti-theft solutions serving customers in more than 60 countries, was struggling with long ramp-up times and heavy training demands for its green screen-based sales applications. As the sales team grew, end users found the applications difficult to use, and InVue needed a more intuitive way to access customer and account information. To address this, InVue turned to Profound Logic and its Profound UI modernization platform.

Profound Logic helped InVue modernize its IBM i applications from 5250 green screens to browser-based, Web 2.0 interfaces using RPG Open Access and Profound UI, along with Atrium for a modern menu framework. The result was easier-to-learn applications, less IT training time, and more efficient, autonomous users who could spend more time selling. InVue also gained new functionality, such as tab-based filtering and tailored product and sales views, and reported that the modernization made future projects more secure with Profound Logic.
