Hörmann - Customer Case Study

Hörmann, a manufacturing and distribution company, was facing a generational change in its IT team and aging IBM i applications built around RPG and green-screen interfaces. To modernize its development environment and support newer languages like JavaScript and Node.js, Hörmann worked with Profound Logic and its German partner Task Force IT.

Profound Logic helped implement CMOne for change management, Profound UI for browser-based interfaces, and Profound.js for Node.js development, while also supporting DDS-to-SQL and RPG modernization. The result was a smoother development process, faster delivery, and better-quality output; Hörmann also reported time savings in daily work and has already moved new projects into modern dashboard and data-generation solutions.
