Brenntag North America, a manufacturing and distributing company, needed to modernize its IBM i applications to better support a large remote sales force of more than 400 employees. To help sales reps access real-time order and inventory information on the road, the company turned to Profound Logic and its Profound UI and Profound Mobile solutions.

Profound Logic helped Brenntag rapidly build and deploy a mobile sales dashboard app with native mobile capabilities, using tools that allowed RPG developers to create modern apps without specialized mobile expertise. The result was faster deal closures, improved customer service, and a more efficient sales team, with Brenntag reporting that the project came in on time and roughly a quarter of a million dollars below other estimates.
