Hotel Grand Ferdinand, a recently renovated 4-star city hotel targeting business travelers, needed to stop relying on a network and rapidly launch its own direct-booking channel to boost sales and reduce OTA costs. They selected Profitroom and in just two months implemented the Profitroom Booking Engine, Profitroom CRM, a new website and Profitroom Channel Manager to gain full visibility and a self-managed reservation system.
Profitroom delivered an intuitive suite plus training and fast support, enabling immediate gains: after one month operating independently the hotel recorded as many direct bookings as it had previously received through network systems in an entire year. Today direct bookings account for about 25% of all reservations (with a 40% target), staff productivity and bonuses have increased, booking costs fell, and monthly performance indicators continue to improve thanks to Profitroom.
