Personal Care Manufacturer, a leading health and beauty company, was seeing out-of-stocks on Amazon rise above acceptable levels and wanted to pinpoint which categories and ASINs were most at risk. The company turned to Profitero and its sales and share analytics to better understand where availability issues were hurting eCommerce performance.

Using Profitero’s assortment and availability analytics, Personal Care Manufacturer monitored OOS rates across more than 20 categories, identified deodorants as the biggest problem area, and used the insights to improve supply terms with Amazon. Profitero helped the manufacturer reduce deodorants OOS rates to low single digits, reach a 2% OOS rate at one point, increase deodorants share by 8pp year over year, cut sales loss by nearly one third, and grow overall market share by 2.7pp.
