Bomag, a leading manufacturer of construction machinery, faced the challenge of capturing and transmitting machine data from its rollers directly to its BOMAP app to enable comprehensive documentation of work results. The vendor, Proemion, provided its Local Connectivity solution to address this need.

Proemion implemented a solution where a CANlink® wireless device was fitted onto Bomag rollers to capture and send machine data via Bluetooth. By integrating Proemion's Byte-Command API into the BOMAP app, this data was received on mobile devices in real-time. The results included a 10% fuel saving, a 15% increase in efficiency, and 100% compliance with continuous compaction control requirements.
