LINAK expands bed control to smartphones and tablets with Proekspert

Linak, a Danish manufacturer of electric linear actuator systems, faced increased competition in the adjustable bed market and sought to help its customers differentiate their products through a more modern and customizable user interface. Partnering with Proekspert, the goal was to develop a mobile control solution to allow users to operate their beds via smartphones and tablets, moving beyond traditional remote handsets.

Proekspert developed a mobile app and Bluetooth interface for Linak's actuator systems. The solution included an iOS application, embedded firmware integration, and a design for reliable Bluetooth communication. This allowed for intuitive bed control from mobile devices while maintaining compatibility with existing remotes. For Linak, the project resulted in significant product differentiation, an improved end-user experience, and expanded customization options for its customers, enabling them to integrate the mobile solution into their own premium bed offerings.
