BKW Energie, an energy and infrastructure service provider, sought to create a single, consistent customer portal to unify its wide range of functions and service offerings from numerous source systems. The challenge was to provide a holistic and sustainable single point of truth for its customers. PRODYNA, in collaboration with Microsoft, was brought in to implement this solution.

PRODYNA implemented a micro-service architecture on Microsoft Azure using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for high availability and scalability. The solution featured an Angular front end and Spring Boot/Node.js back end, which consolidated all customer self-services into a central OnePortal. This provided customers with a personalized dashboard, smart meter data analysis, and maintenance overviews, successfully creating a modern, central contact point that met BKW's professional, organizational, and technical requirements.
