Shopee, the leading e-commerce marketplace in Southeast Asia and Taiwan with over 160 million active product listings and around 6 million sellers, needed greater visibility through Google Shopping but faced major scaling challenges: strict Google feed specifications, time-consuming product taxonomy mapping, and the need to create and manage Merchant Center subaccounts for thousands of sellers. To solve this, Shopee partnered with Productsup and adopted the Productsup software to handle their channel-specific feed requirements.
Productsup delivered predefined Google Merchant Center export templates, feed analysis, 200+ bulk-editing boxes, a Category Mapping List, and Google Content API Delta exports to automate subaccount creation and updates. The solution cut feed editing and auditing time from months to days, removed manual subaccount management, and enabled Shopee to scale Shopping ads ten-fold — driving a 1000% increase in traffic and making Google Shopping one of their fastest-growing advertising channels.
