Taco Bell rolls out PDK across 12 Montana locations with cloud-based access control

Taco Bell, a major fast-food chain with thousands of locations, faced security and efficiency challenges due to high employee turnover. Managing access with traditional lock-and-key systems was costly and risky, requiring frequent rekeying whenever staff left. To address this, Taco Bell partnered with vendor ProdataKey (PDK) to implement its cloud-based access control system, PDK.io.

ProdataKey's solution replaced physical keys with PIN codes managed through PDK.io, providing instant control over access permissions. This eliminated the need for rekeying, reduced security risks, and streamlined operations. The system's flexibility secured various facility areas, while its scalability easily supported the customer's growth from 9 to 15 locations. The results included enhanced security, significant cost savings, and improved convenience for managers and staff.
