Freedom Business Collective powers 15 offices at full capacity with ProdataKey

The Freedom Business Collective, a shared workspace for entrepreneurs in Charlotte, North Carolina, needed a secure and flexible access control system for its new facility. Their challenge was to manage two types of memberships with different permissions while fostering a collaborative community. They worked with the vendor ProdataKey and installer Converge Communications Technologies to implement a cloud-based access control solution using PDK readers and the PDK.io platform.

ProdataKey's solution provided the Freedom Business Collective with a system that uses key fobs, mobile credentials, and PINs for secure entry. The PDK.io platform allowed for easy management of custom access permissions for different member groups. The system was seamlessly integrated with Coworks management software, streamlining operations. As a result, the space secured the facility, achieved full occupancy, and successfully fostered a strong sense of community where local entrepreneurs collaborate and work together.
