Anonymous Synagogue boosts security with ProdataKey in a 10,000-square-foot building

An anonymous synagogue in New York faced the challenge of managing a complex, ever-changing door schedule due to religious observances while also needing to significantly increase physical security following a national tragedy. They required a system that was both highly flexible for daily operations and capable of robust lockdown procedures. The synagogue partnered with ProdataKey (PDK) to implement its wireless, cloud-based access control system.

The ProdataKey solution provided an easy-to-use interface for automating door schedules remotely and the scalability to enhance security post-incident. This included implementing a full lockdown system with wired buttons and wireless emergency fobs, with plans to integrate audio and strobe lights. The system delivered both the initial desired convenience and the critical, enhanced security capabilities, allowing the congregation to effectively balance being welcoming with being safe.
