How Chai Lifeline Streamlined Their Accounting Process with Procurify

The Donald Berman Chai Lifeline Canada is a Toronto-based nonprofit that supports families of children with serious illnesses. As the charity grew and shifted to remote work, paper purchase orders, manual reimbursements and biweekly check-printing became bottlenecks—slowing vendor payments, creating invoice backlogs, and making accurate donor spend reporting harder to maintain.

Chai Lifeline implemented Procurify integrated with QuickBooks and Amazon PunchOut to digitize approvals, purchasing and invoicing, and enable remote workflows. The result: 100% platform adoption, faster reimbursements and vendor payments, about 50 backlogged invoices cleared and daily invoice processing, paperless records, and improved visibility for donor accounting.
