From Florida to Nebraska, One Admin’s Online Proctoring Experience Across Multiple Universities

The University of Nebraska faced the challenge of supporting large online courses (regularly enrolling 150–250 students) while maintaining academic integrity and accommodating students who could not use campus testing sites. To meet the needs of non‑traditional and remote learners, the school turned to ProctorU for online proctoring and a customizable testing solution that could work around students’ schedules and locations.

ProctorU implemented a tailored proctoring program—combining real‑time human support, automated AI capabilities, and post‑exam session review—to make remote testing seamless for students and faculty. The partnership allowed University of Nebraska courses to continue at scale (150–250 students), expanded access for students who otherwise couldn’t test on campus, and protected program reputation and exam integrity while offering financially flexible options for different course needs.
