The Weitz Company, a nationwide full-service general contractor and one of the oldest A/E/C firms in the U.S., faced operational friction after 15 years of running projects across two separate systems. With financial and operational tasks split between platforms, information was scattered, hard to find, and required teams to toggle between tools; Weitz needed a single solution that supported field management (punch lists, inspections, quality), traditional project controls (document control, submittals, RFIs), and robust financial integration.

Weitz implemented Procore with an integration to JD Edwards, rolling it out via classroom training, on-the-ground follow-ups, and regional “local champions.” Consolidating address books, budgets, commitments, contracts, and line-level transaction detail gave teams full forecasting and cost visibility, simplified onboarding, and improved productivity—estimating roughly a half day saved per month for operations leadership—and drew positive feedback from users for its ease of use and faster access to project information.
