StreetLights Residential, a Dallas-based developer of urban multifamily and mixed-use communities, was losing productivity to manual project administration: teams spent hours chasing emails, sending reminders, entering the same field notes twice, and managing documents on an unreliable VPN and internal server. The fragmented processes made consistent documentation, timely handovers, and IT support costly and time-consuming.
Implementing Procore’s cloud-based construction platform centralized documentation, automated reminders, removed the need for a VPN, and enabled mobile data entry with unlimited user access. The change freed IT resources, reduced duplicate work, improved safety reporting and drawing management, and saved significant admin time (the accounts/payables team estimated up to two days per week). Standardized workflows made reporting and handovers easier and improved overall employee efficiency and quality of life.
