A Procore Case Study
McCownGordon, a Midwest commercial contractor founded in 1999 that focuses on healthcare, higher education, museums and municipal buildings, needed field teams to access up-to-date project costs and budgets on jobsites so they could make timely decisions. Their previous system was not mobile, required heavy training, and made financial data difficult to retrieve—hindering productivity and collaboration.
By adopting Procore with the Sage 300 CRE Connector and mobile apps, McCownGordon gave crews real‑time access to budgets, forecasts, drawings, RFIs and photos from the field, while integrating cost data directly from Sage. The change eliminated in‑house servers, cut licensing and overhead (about $60K in internal license savings and $120K+ total annual savings), improved efficiency and collaboration, and helped the company compete with and win work against much larger firms.
