A Procore Case Study
Cleveland Construction is a family-owned general contractor founded in 1980 that specializes in historic adaptive reuse and large-scale projects across the U.S., including major restorations in downtown Cleveland. As their workload and stakeholder network grew, the company struggled with labor-intensive, manual processes—especially submittal and RFI tracking maintained in constantly outdated master spreadsheets—which hindered efficiency and project coordination.
After piloting Procore on three diverse projects, Cleveland rolled the platform out companywide. Procore’s unlimited-user model and automation replaced manual data entry, gave architects, inspectors, clients, and crews real-time access to the same information, and improved collaboration; the result was smoother workflows, broader staff adoption (even among long-tenured field superintendents), and better ability to deliver safe, high-quality projects on time and on budget.
