Case Study: Clalit Health Services achieves end-to-end SAP ERP process modeling and strong business-to-ERP alignment with ProcessGene

A ProcessGene Case Study

Preview of the Clalit Health Services Case Study

World’s Second Largest HMO Uses ProcessGene™ for SAP Implementation and Business Process Improvement

Clalit Health Services, the world’s second-largest health management provider with 16 hospitals, 1,400 clinics and extensive imaging, pharmacy and specialty centers, launched a ~$30M SAP ERP program covering finance, supply chain and human capital. With two integrators (IBM BCS and EDS/HP) and 20 integration teams, the project’s main challenge was coordinating a complex, collaborative business process modeling effort to ensure a tight fit between Clalit’s operational requirements and the SAP solution.

ProcessGene delivered an end-to-end business process realization platform that provided bi‑directional connectivity between Clalit’s process models and the SAP execution layer, letting each implementation team function as a process-modeling workgroup. This accelerated content capture, maintained clear traceability to SAP, avoided expenditure on dedicated external professional services, and produced reusable process baselines, a common organizational terminology, stronger alignment between requirements and implementation, and retained organizational knowledge for future rollouts and upgrades.
