FrieslandCampina, the dairy producer at its Aalter packaging facility, needed a better way to record and monitor packaging-line parameters across three shifts. Paper lists were time-consuming to file and retrieve, and operators needed a clearer, faster way to see limits, instructions, and next steps on the shop floor. To address this, FrieslandCampina worked with Proceedix from SymphonyAI, along with PwC and Augnition, to digitize its procedures.

Proceedix from SymphonyAI was implemented on tablets to guide operators step by step through parameter lists using QR codes, color-coded limits, and immediate alerts when values were out of range. The app also digitized the photo reference book and stored completed lists in the cloud, even when connectivity was interrupted. FrieslandCampina reported faster access to data, better visibility into trends, and the potential for more preventive maintenance and future savings, with plans to roll the solution out to more machines and add additional workflows.
