Case Study: Atlas Copco achieves paperless end-of-line inspections and improved traceability with Proceedix

A Proceedix Case Study

Preview of the Atlas Copco Case Study

Elimination of paperwork for end of line Inspections and prototype assembly

Atlas Copco Wilrijk Oil‑Free Division, a unit of the Swedish industrial equipment manufacturer, was burdened by paper-based quality control and New Product Development processes: checklists were often not completed, logbooks were time‑consuming, and traceability across the production chain was poor. To solve this, Atlas Copco deployed the Proceedix software on Android tablets for end‑of‑line inspections and prototype assembly.

Proceedix digitized inspections and assembly instructions, enabling operators to perform checks on tablets, attach photos, and automatically generate execution reports accessible to inspectors and engineers. The Proceedix solution eliminated paperwork, reduced logbook writing, improved issue documentation with immediate photo sharing, and increased traceability (including prototype comparisons via the built‑in History Viewer).
