System integration opens the door for growth for Kaap Agri

Kaap Agri, one of South Africa’s largest agricultural co-operatives with around 200 outlets and more than 2,500 suppliers, needed real-time supply chain visibility to improve control, discipline, and support a new growth model. As the business moved from one integrated system to multiple systems across suppliers and acquired businesses, it faced the risk of inefficiency, poor visibility, and increased complexity. Proagrica was selected to help address these challenges with integration services and supply chain solutions.

Proagrica delivered an Integrated Platform as a Service (iPaaS) and a Procure to Pay solution, integrating Kaap Agri’s internal systems, including finance and point of sale, as well as its full supplier base. The result was a real-time dashboard with end-to-end visibility, automated issue detection, and ticketing for follow-up or escalation when problems arise. This gave Kaap Agri greater confidence in operations, improved control, and the ability to pursue a broader long-term growth strategy.
