Case Study: MFA Incorporated achieves better data accuracy with Proagrica

A Proagrica Case Study

Preview of the MFA Incorporated Case Study

Delivering results through improved data accuracy

MFA Incorporated, a long-standing agricultural cooperative headquartered in Columbia, Missouri, needed a better way to handle the huge volumes of daily field data it collects for growers. The challenge was standardizing incoming information so it could be made accurate, consistent, and easy to use across teams while supporting better agronomic recommendations and customer service. Proagrica’s Summit and Sirrus applications were selected to help address these needs.

Proagrica implemented Summit, Sirrus, and the agX spatial data repository to standardize and synchronize data across desktop, web, and mobile workflows. The result was improved reporting consistency, stronger data accuracy, and better internal communication across locations, with MFA reporting that the system has paid off over more than a decade of use. While no hard numeric metrics were provided, MFA says it can rely on “good data” from every location and plans to expand usage across more roles and growers.
