Connectivity brings traceability and more for crop protection

Agro CloSer, the Dutch partnership formed by Agrodis and Nefyto, needed a better way to trace crop protection products and improve recall accuracy across a highly fragmented market with many different ERP systems. To address growing demand for traceability, the group turned to Proagrica and its integrated data connectivity solutions to support accurate product tracking, order history visibility, and faster communication between manufacturers and distributors.

Proagrica implemented a solution combining EDI and portals that integrated with existing ERP systems, enabling end-to-end traceability for orders, deliveries, invoices, and product movement in real time. The system eliminated the need to recall entire product ranges by pinpointing items by origin and manufacture date, while also improving user experience and simplifying purchasing for distributors; Agro CloSer is now piloting the data integration across the Dutch crop protection market.
