Case Study: Water Authority Rivierenland modernizes workspaces with Proact

Proact supports water authority with migration to state-of-the-art workspaces

Water Authority Rivierenland, a Dutch organization responsible for water control, needed to migrate its 1,200 users from a 32-bit to a 64-bit VDI platform to support a new financial application and improve the performance of specialized software like AutoCAD. With a small internal IT team, they sought an expert partner and selected Proact for its knowledge in workspace technology to ensure a seamless transition.

Proact implemented a new Windows 10 environment using VMware Horizon on Dell hardware. The solution provided modern, high-performance workspaces with greater automation, making them easy to roll out and manage. The successful migration, which also included upgrades to Exchange and Active Directory, was completed on time, resulting in improved security, stability, and business continuity for the water authority.
